Procedures

We love our children, families, and all friends of Jardin de los Niños. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding in ensuring the safety of our children.

Families
Families will drop off and pick up children during the designated drop-off and pick-up times. Jardin de los Niños is providing all information regarding additional safety procedures and policies directly to the families of Jardin. Please contact Alma Mendoza or Marina Flores at 575-522-2111 for any questions or to follow up on information that has been provided.

Volunteers
We care deeply for our volunteers and will continue to follow all policies and safety procedures to ensure the safety of our children, families, staff, and volunteers. Volunteers are able to support the center and La Tienda de Jardin. If you are interested in learning more about what options to volunteer are available, please call Diana O’Brien at 575-522-2111.

Visitors
With the guidance of the Department of Health and in following our Governor’s orders, as well as coordinating with CYFD, Jardin de los Niños will limit access to our building. This includes our front door remaining locked during operational hours. Anyone needing to schedule a meeting or appointment can contact us at 575-522-2111, and we are happy to discuss details with you.

Donations
As we prepare for the holiday season and colder weather, we are kindly asking for your support regarding donations. Beginning in October and through December, in addition to our Adopt-A-Family campaign, we will only be accepting the in-kind donations/items that we are in most need of:
-Diapers and Pull-ups (especially sizes 4 and 5)
-Baby wipes
-Cleaning products (Sanitizing sprays and wipes)
-Hygiene products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, q-tips, etc.)
-Zipper storage bags (gallon and quart size)

Donations will be accepted by appointment. You can coordinate a donation drop-off by calling 575-522-2111.

We kindly ask that all donations be placed in a bag or box before delivery. After scheduling a donation drop-off, please call 575-522-2111 upon arrival and a staff member will meet you at your vehicle to receive donations.
